For forty years, I have been taking photographs. Mostly on film. Mostly in the Vendée, Nantes, and the UK, with a few detours to places like China.
For a long time, those photographs just lived on my hard drives, or in boxes in the attic. Recently, I decided it was time to do something with them.
So, I built a shop.
Why now?
I have always preferred a physical print. There is nothing quite like holding a good piece of paper with an image you care about. But I know not everyone wants a framed print on their wall, and some people just want the file. I wanted to set up a place that offered both, without cutting corners on the quality.
The reality of setting it up
Building the shop was a bit of a wrong turn or two. If you think pushing HP5+ in low light is tricky, try untangling international shipping zones, Harmonised System customs codes, and duplicate digital download files in Shopify.
There were moments it was genuinely doing my head in. But I got there. The shop is clean, the files are attached, and it is finally ready.
What is inside?
I have broken the shop down into a few collections, based on the places I have spent the most time shooting:
- Nantes & Vendée: The river, the local light, and the corners most people walk past.
- UK Chronicles: Memories of home, from the Northumberland coast to Alnmouth.
- The China Tour: Street scenes and unexpected details from my travels there.
You will find the photographs available as Fine Art Prints (printed and shipped globally by WhiteWall in Berlin) and as Digital Downloads. I have also included my two eBooks, Photography from the Heart and IJM on the Streets (Nantes), for anyone interested in the writing side of things.
Take a look

Thanks for looking.
