Let’s Connect: Mentorship, Prints & Collaborations

Hello, and welcome.

If you’ve been following my journey here on the blog, you know that photography for me has never been just about capturing light — it’s about preserving moments, telling quiet stories, and finding beauty in the in-between spaces of everyday life.

Today, I’m writing to share a small but meaningful update: I am now welcoming inquiries for mentorship, prints, and collaborations.

While the heart of this site remains a space for shared passion, I would be honoured to work with you directly — whether you’re looking to deepen your film practice, bring a piece of my Nantes series into your home, or explore a creative project together.

🎯 Pathways to Work Together

Here are the four main ways we might connect:

  • 🎓 Mentorship & Guidance
For the film enthusiast ready to deepen their practice.
I offer personalized 1:1 mentorship (remote or Nantes-based). We can focus on exposure, composition, or editing workflow. If you’re feeling stuck with your camera or your vision, let’s find a way forward together.
  • 🖼️ Fine Art Prints
For the collector who values archival quality.
Selected black-and-white images from my Nantes street series are available as limited edition prints. Museum-grade paper — made to be lived with.
  • ✍️ Article & Topic Suggestions
For the community that drives this content.
Have an idea for a blog post or tutorial? I’m always listening. Your questions often become my next article.
  • 🎨 Collaborations
    For shared projects.
Interested in a photo walk, workshop, or exhibition? Let’s explore how we can create something meaningful together.

📬 A Dedicated Space for Our Conversations

To ensure I can give every message the attention it deserves, I’ve set up a dedicated inbox for these inquiries.

✉️ Ian@ijmphotography.net

(Personal messages and blog comments are still welcome — this address simply helps me keep project work and mentorship requests organized.)

⏱️ Response Time:
I aim to reply within 2–3 business days. If your message is time-sensitive, please note “URGENT” in your subject line, and I’ll prioritise accordingly.

(Français ? Je suis également disponible pour des échanges en français — n’hésitez pas à me contacter dans votre langue.)

👋 Just Say Hi!

Not ready for a project? That’s perfectly fine.
If you just want to share your latest shot, ask a quick question, or simply say hello — my inbox is open. No pressure. No agenda. Just two photographers sharing a corner of the internet.

🙏 A Personal Note

This step feels both exciting and vulnerable. Building a micro-enterprise while staying true to the quiet, reflective spirit of my work is a balance I’m learning daily. If you choose to reach out, know that I read every message with care — and I’m genuinely grateful you’re here.

“Photography, for me, has always been a conversation. I’d love to hear from you.”
— Ian
